Rag Day

Yay today was rag day. It's a big event for NUS where they parade their floats to thank the public for the collection on Flag Day. When I mean they actually it's we, the ppl from halls and faculties. As promised, it was a big event this year especially since it's d first time it's held at the Padang of Singapore. There was lots of ppl, sweaty mostly, cheering around, or shouting, phew... We shouted our heads off cheering for our hall. I think cos our hall seems to hv the smallest population or most ppl were helping out with the setting up of the float. Raffles did a bus float. Inside got phoenix head and wing. Cool man...the head and wings can move wan. Of course there was also the dance...some phoenixes, snakes and students. Overall, I felt that our hall did very well, if not the best. But, there's always buts isn't there? Well, but, don't think we won anything so sad. The other halls had at least 1 title to their name. There were lots of titles being thrown around....I couldn't catch them all. Well, anyway the whole day was quite fun though freaking hot. Cos we were concentrating on shouting the loudest and js having fun. Even did a mass dance with the music they played haha...crazy bunch yeah. We had to leave b4 they finished announcing the winners of the various titles. They announced lots d...so don't think we won any. Well...what the heck, we put lots of effort and enjoyed the whole process and rag day. So yay...
