My Story

If you search for "Phea" now, you'll probably find a lot of articles about him. There are at least 3 about him already. So, there's a lot of tributes to him by now...so I won't elaborate. You can visit Gail or Tirza or Block 6 blog... I have known him for almost half a year now...might not seem long but it does feel like I've known him forever...
Phea was our block mate, is our friend, and is a papa to most of us. Why suddenly so many articles about this guy? Cos he moved to NUS High School Residences today. No...he didn't move out out Raffles to go back to Cambodia to become a monk like Alex says. Haha...he's there as a RA...
To say that we do not miss him is an outright lie. When he's not around, our block 6 gang is incomplete...not as lively...not as crazy... Even today, the first day he's not around feels so empty already...it's quite the same feeling when he was not around on weekends...empty and boring days...It's just like a puzzle with a missing piece...a big and important piece indeed. Our gang has been dreading the day that he leaves...everyday hoping and wishing that he doesn't leave...but then he got called to the interview and we know there's a high chance he'll be leaving. How we all wish that we can turn back time and change his mind on leaving...but he has been quite bent on going there because he said before that he originally applied there before being sent to Raffles. So, if he's happy there, we'll all be happy for him too...
We'll miss those days that we had meals and suppers together. We'll miss our outings together. We'll miss the days we studied together. We'll miss every event that has you in the picture. So, Phea, if you happen to stumble upon this blog, don't forget all of us here back at Raffles. We won't forget you definitely...you've had such a big influence in our life this past half year...you might not know...but you certainly Hopefully we can meet often enough for lunches or just to talk...Hope you have a good time ahead...Friends forever right?
