My Story

I'm glad that I'm filling my time working in Kumon not really for the money, more for filling my time. Kumon is this self learning centre for students to learn Maths and English. So, basically my job there is just to mark their worksheets quite an easy job to do. And, the working hours ain't heavy just about 4 to 5 hours a day. with 2 days of total rest. Thanks to Yoke Leng haha...that's how I got the job. Most of the work that I often end up doing are mostly through recommendation haha...some fren js comes by and asks me if I'm interested...I go urh urh...okla try try...and end up doing it haha...it's not bad I suppose. It's easier than going and scouting for the job through newspapers and all...not knowing whether it's safe or not.

Heard from Chao Yian that SDU sponsored RH a great amount of money bringing our total to 20k....good job Gail!!! And from Gail's blog I really feel that Gail and Swee Yee are doing a great job looking for sponsors and revenue for the OMC team...they work so hard for everything even though they have much smaller manpower for the activities now...didn't feel like I worked that hard when I was there the first half of the time...haha...but anyway....congrats all in OMC team...

I'm going to Genting this Saturday...to watch a lion dance competition. Yea....going up there specially for that...so cool...we redeemed the tickets from Nanyang newspaper haha...hope it'll be good...

Ah...noticed something....no mention of food in this blog wahahahah..... =p

Blink my eyes and almost 2 weeks have already passed since I got home. I just don't want time to go so fast...don't want to go back to Sg so fast...to say I have not achieved anything here is not the whole truth though. I've had a number of meetings with my friends, some outings with my family, of course good food (here I go again haha).

So far, have met up with my Form 6 friends for a round of badminton and bak kut teh...I guess they just took me as an excuse to eat bkt haha...cos actually I'm not a big fan but they said I miss it pulak haha...but it was good...catching up with Aswin, Yoke Leng, Ching, Christinal and Tee Say...

Also, had to put extra extra effort in planning a meeting with my Form 5 friends haha...it's js that every1 is so busy with their own activities and agendas that our meetings got pushed from yesterday morning to the night. We ended up in Jusco Bukit Tinggi in the Secret Recipe, mainly to celebrate Nata's belated birthday (I had a choc indulgence cake...cos the cake was cheaper than the drink so I rather had the cake haha) AND roaming around JJ taking pictures. We even took one with the signboard at the escalator (actually it was js testing the "abilities" of the photographer, Shahlini) causing some stares and giggles from another group of girls nearby. I think THEY were trying to take a picture with the signboard of the Korean restaurant... hey not paranoid...haha...js guesswork...Anyway, really had fun meeting up with these ppl + YL and Radha...cos it's been such a long time since we've met (except YL and Nata) due to everyone's "busy" schedules...I want to put up photos we took but my internet connection's damn slow so I will not do it now...although it could have been the first photos that don't contain elements of food in it...hehe...
