Chong Wei lost to Taufik (3-15,12-15). Chong Ming-Kien Keat lost to Candra-Sigit (9-15,11-15) (sob). Both lost in straight sets.

Chong Wei did not put up a fight against Taufik in the first game. He kinda gave the game to Taufik. He lost 15-3. Most of the points were results from his errors. In the second game, he did put up a fight, but it wasn’t enough. He was leading but let Taufik overtake him and win the match. :(

Chong Ming-Kien Keat were js inexperienced. They started of well…attacking and gaining points. I thought they were gonna make it but they were stuck at the 9th point. They were making lots of mistakes and they lost the first game. Second game, I think they were all the way behind the Indonesians. Sad…but I didn’t expect them to win in the first place. They still have many more years to come though. =P

Tmr the finals will be shown live on TV1 at 7.30am. Although got no Malaysians, but I still wanna watch. =P I think the best match will be between Lin Dan and Taufik. I hope Lin Dan wins! =P

Chong Ming-Kien Keat beat Flandi Limpele-Eng Hian in the quarter finals. So they're up against Candra Wijaya-Sigit Budiarto. It'll be hard cos they're the top seeds. :( I'm currently watching the championships on tv1. =P Now is women's singles. After dat it'll be Chong Wei and Taufik. =P

Oh....Chong Wei won over Bao Chunlai!!! He continues his unbeaten streak against Bao Chunlai. Amazing...I wonder what's his technique that causes his winnings against the Chinese player. I think he should teach it to Choong Hann cos Choong Hann hasn't won any matches against Bao Chunlai before if I'm not mistaken. So Chong Wei's in the semis. He's up against Taufik next. Gosh....I hope he'll play well....Chong Wei I mean. The other semis is Lin Dan against Peter Gade. Peter Gade is another amazing fellow. He hurt his finger but still can play so well. =PSo I can watch badminton live on TV1. =P Yeah...gonna watch it at 10.30 and 3 am. I hope I don't bring bad luck to Chong Wei. I think Chong Ming-Kien Keat is playing right now.

Just found this news:-

Live on RTM if...

MALAYSIANS will get to see the national shuttlers in action live on television if they advance to the semi-finals and final of the World Badminton Championships.

RTM has sent a crew to Anaheim and word has it that there will also be delayed coverage of the championships which kick off tomorrow.

Cable channel Starsports is also scheduled to screen the World Championships, which is expected to be broadcast to over 140 countries.
Source: New Straits Times

I will get to watch after all. But, that's if they advance to semi-finals only. =P

The world badminton championships is on-going!! But, Malaysia is now only left with Chong Wei and Chong Ming-Kien Keat. They're in the quarter finals I think. Chong Wei and Chong Ming-Kien Keat is up against Bao Chunlai and Flandi Limpele-Eng Hian respectively. Chong Wei has a good record against Chunlai hopefully he'll suceed this time too. As for Chong Ming-Kien Keat, I just hope they'll do their best and beat the Indonesian pair. =P Good luck to the three of them!!

Proud achievements:-
Tan Fook-Choon Eng beat Sang Yang-Zheng Bo. I thought they will lose to them but they won. Such a cool thing. But they lost to Tony Gunawan-Howard Bach of USA though. Disappointing. :(

Chong Ming-Kien Keat beat Cai Yun-Fu Haifeng. This one I didn't think there was any hope for them but they lived up to the challenge. :)

I would really LOVE to watch the live matches but I dun have Astro's sports channel. :( So sad. Maybe it's better that I don't watch cos so far I don't think I've watched many live matches where the winners were Malaysians. It's like I'm bringing bad luck to them. Or maybe it's cos they're not good enough. No...I think it's ME bringing bad luck. :)

Holidays are coming!!

Yeah…1 more day of schooling and and there’s gonna be 9 days of hols. =P It ALMOST wasn’t going be to be any holiday at all cos of all the extra classes that was fitted into the period to finish up the syllabus. Luckily, the Physics and Chemistry extra class were cancelled. =P It was cancelled cos my class teacher wanted to organize a visit to a old folk’s home on Monday (same day as extra class day) and my classmates were obviously more interested in the old folk’s home. =P The old folk’s home is in Southern Park by the way. I dunno if I’ll be going yet.

Oh…today I had pizza for dinner. It was the latest cheesy crust thingy. Wasn’t that fantastic though. But nice change from my normal ‘ricey’ dinners la. =P Hehe…and I ordered the pizza by phone. My first time! The lady who took my order was nice except for two things. She called me sir and put my name as adik Lee. :( Gosh did I sound like a sir? Adik? Okla…acceptable a bit la. =P

Haih…niway…tmr gonna have the MUET presentation. I think I’ll be just gonna read from the paper. :( At least I’ll be done with it tmr and will hv a nice holiday. =P Wish me luck!

Liddat lo...

I didn’t have Taekwondo today. Why? I didn’t exactly find out why but I’m sure it’s most probably due to the haze. The API reading is currently 89 I think for Port Klang. This is EXTREMELY good cos before this it was 529 and they even had to declare an emergency. So, the haze is almost over and yeah….it’s a good thing that we don’t have to smell the smoke every time we breathe in now. But, it also means that school’s gonna open. :( Hehe….but I guess will eventually reopen sooner or later. I heard that those schools that were in areas with API readings of 500 and above and were forced to close might not have to have replacement days on Saturdays. Not sure if it’s true….but hopefully it is. =P

Well, today afternoon I went to Jusco. I was very happy cos I haven’t been out of the house for like nearly 2 days. Met Rohini there. She told me that her sis was very happy when she found out from Sue Anne that the grading was postponed. =P After Jusco I went to bank and withdrew money for my mum (she was in the car). My mum said that I could easily have been robbed the way I handled the money. =P Then, dropped by Leong Agency to pick up a few books. Went home….and realized that the book dat I bought outdated d. PA syllabus js changed this year. So, went to Leong again and exchanged the book for another. Oh…then me n my mum went to ‘Chung Kok’ aka China (Miao, jealous ka?). It’s a coffee shop few doors away from Leong. Had tea there….actually 100 plus n bread. =P There was a cute baby girl (if I’m not mistaken) there. She was js doing what babies do….acting cute…or more like BEING cute. =P So CUTE! =P

No school

Latest update: No school on Thursday and Friday in whole of Klang (i think) due to the haze. Hooray.... =P

Haze

The haze has become very BAD. I believe it’s even worse than when I was in primary school. Everyone was closing their noses when we were in the classroom. STAR doesn’t have school tmr. ACS? I’m not very sure cos according to Wan Fen it has already been declared that no school tmr n Friday on radio. But, when I watch tv3 news, the menteri said it’s up to the pengetua. So, I’m not very sure of the rumours. :(

Anyway, yesterday when we were having Chemy, the haze was already quite bad (not as bad as today though). The guys were trying to persuade our teacher not to teach. =P They told teacher: Haze, haze no need teach. My teacher was like haze outside nothing to do with our lesson rite, we continue. 2nd attempt: Teacher, we can’t see d board la. =P Haha…teacher js said if u say summore I’m gonna take ur SS period as well. 3rd attempt: All of them started coughing. =P It was so funny but of course teacher did not give in to any of their ‘persuasion’.

Bloody (not in the bad way) Day

Confirm I can’t be a doctor. Today, the girl who sat in front of me in class, her nose bled. She was like wiping it with a tissue, the tissue was all red, and I was like “uuhhh….” The red was REALLY blood red….wait…it IS blood. She used up God knows how many pieces of tissue. And her fingers too had blood. It was like she squished a tomato onto her hand and the tissue (I dunno if tomato juice is that red). Ili…haha….she went near the girl not to help her but to see the incident. She claims that she has nvr seen anyone’s nose bleed before. =P I have…but not that close up and not that much. =P

Spot Check

My school had spot check today. If I’m not mistaken, all the classes had spot check except for mine. =P Dunno why but lucky for most of my classmates cos half of them brought handphone. Our class got the news bout the spot check when the prefects were spot checking other classes. News sure do spread fast. =P It was so funny watching the antics of my classmates hiding their handphones. I learned so many new ways to hide handphones:-

1. In the cupboard of the class (this is not safe cos it will be checked also)
2. In the dustbin (also not safe cos they will also check the dustbin)
3. In the duster (God only knows how my classmate managed to put it in there)
4. In your shoe (should be quite safe unless it rings)
5. Pour all the water away from ur ‘Tupperware’ water bottle – the one with the cloth bag included and put ur handphone in it. =P (um….should be quite safe….just make sure ur handphone is water proof)
6. Give ur handphone to ur friend in another class which has already went through the spot check (the best way to escape!!)

Because of the spot check, we only had 20 minutes of MUET cos our teacher is in charge of the prefects. She came in and asked us if any of us got caught. Of course no one told her that we didn’t kena spot check. =P

Hate Delta :(

Why I don't like Delta:-
a) The teacher to student ratio is very big. But Form 6 is much better as there are less students
doing Form 6.
b) The people who work there (collecting fees) are unpleasant. They give you grumpy- looking
looks if they don't know you well enough. But to people they know they're okla.

On Tuesday, when I went to pay fees, the lady there was scolding somebody through the phone. So, I waited for her to finish her phone call la. When she finally did, she went on doing dunno what work without even bothering to ask what we (a few of us were there) wanted. When I finally caught her attention, I asked her for Physics and Chemistry receipt. She only gave mone. (Normally I get 2 separate ones) So i asked her for another, she stared at me and screamed: Same ppl rite? Same ppl same receipt la!! I went like....o ok.... Then when I gave her the money, I knew she was gonna comment something cos Chemistry we had to only pay RM60 instead of the usual RM70. She paused for a little while when she was writing on my card. I told her. Then she screamed again: July no need pay rite? No need pay ask teacher sign!! (We don't have to pay for the month of July cos of some reasons) Again I went like...o....ok. Well, that's why I don't like Delta. But for Form 6 I HAVE to go there. :(
