Got nothing to blog about so I’ll write bout my relatives’ visit last Sunday and the previous Monday. The previous Monday, my father’s side family came down. Not everyone but one of my uncle’s whole family -12 of them. My uncle, my aunt, four cousins, their respective spouses and 3 kids.
It was kind of a special event cos they hardly visit us in Klang. It’s my family that does the visiting to Penang every year during Chinese New Year. Main reason is of course because my dad’s hometown is in Penang so it’s only right if we go back to Penang during CNY. And, my dad’s side of the family consists of a LOT of ppl. So, they can’t conveniently travel here often.
So, back to that Monday. My uncle’s family went to Genting the day earlier so they decided to drop by since they were so ‘nearby’. In my opinion, I don’t think Genting is so near Klang but since they came from Penang then I guess it can be considered near. =p So, we took them to Pandamaran to eat crabs. We would have brought them to Teluk Gong but they arrived quite late so we were afraid that by the time we reached the restaurant it’ll be closed. Our lunch dishes was almost everything in the sea. Fish, crab, sotong, prawn, lala. Since there were so many ppl to finish up the food I didn’t feel extremely full la. =p Throughout the lunch, I didn’t speak much cos they mostly speak Hokkien and my Hokkien is hopeless. :( But my cousin, Ah Peng knew English and he was always cracking jokes so it was alright la. Then, brought them to our house to rest before they start on their journey back.. Yeah….so it was fun.
In less than a week, on Sunday, we had our 2nd crab lunch with my aunts from my mother’s side. This wan not so special la cos they stay in KL and PJ so we frequently have these lunches (no offence) =p Haha….but still this ain’t an everyday affair so it was fun too. This time we went to Carey Island to have our lunch. Food there was yummy. After lunch, we went to a temple in Banting. This temple is supposed to be a tourist attraction. There were lots of decorations and statues. But, compared to the first time I went there during CNY (if I’m not mistaken) not very nice la. Cos the 1st time we went at night, so it was brighter and cos of CNY there were more decorations and activities. =p

For Sue Anne's satisfaction:-
MANILA, Dec 3 (Bernama) -- Wong Pei Tty-Chin Eei Hui ended Malaysia's 30-year drought when they grabbed the gold in the women's doubles after defeating Indonesia's shuttlers at the Philsports Multi-Sports Complex here Saturday.
Their victory brought back fond memories of Sylvia Ng-Rosalind Singha Ang who took gold in the event in the 1975 SEAP Games in Bangkok. At the time, Indonesia was not a member.
Pei Tty-Eei Hui's achievement had broken Indonesia's domination in badminton after they won four out of five categories in the 23rd SEA Games.
It was not an easy feat, however, as the Malaysian pair lost 9-15 in the second set against Jo Novita-Greysia Polii after winning the first set 15-12.
In the decider, the Indonesians managed to collect five straight points when the Malaysian pair were ahead 14-8.
At 13-14, the service changed hands but Pei Tty failed to get the winning point. However, her partner Eei Hui did not dissapoint the fans when she brought home the gold.
"I was satisfied with the first set but we made too many mistakes in the second set because we wanted to end the game quickly. In the third set, we were more careful because if we continued to make mistakes, we would have lost," said Pei Tty.
In the women's singles, national shuttler Wong Mew Choo failed to defend the title she won in Vietnam two years ago after losing to Indonesia's Adriyanti Firdasari in straight set 8-11, 7-11.
Malaysia also took five bronze through Lee Chong Wei and Muhamad Hafiz Hashim in men's singles, Chan Chong Ming-Koo Kien Keat and Wong Choong Hann-Choong Tan Fook in men's doubles and Kien Keat-Ooi Sock Ai in mixed doubles. They lost in the semifinals yesterday.
In the men's singles final, Sony Dwi Kuncoro defeated Simon Santoso 17-16, 15-3 while in the men's doubles, the gold went to Markis Kido-Hendra Setiawan who defeated Luluk Hadiyanto-Alven Yulianto Indonesia 15-8, 7-15, 15-6.
In mixed doubles, Nova Widianto-Liliyana defeated Anggun Nugroho-Jo Novita 15-6, 15-2.

Then headed for my house to use the internet. My cousin also brought her new mp3 player and pen drive along. She wanted to ask me how to use it as though I’m a pakar liddat. The only time I transferred stuff from the mp3 player to the computer was when my 2nd sis last came back here. Haha…but anyway I think my cousin realized my lack of knowledge about the mp3 player and asked her computer guy back in KL how to use it already. Anyway, she also used my internet to check her mail. And, my goodness…her yahoo mail is in BM…I dunno how she registered for it until liddat. Seeing the usually English yahoo mail in BM was so weird….
